This system has so many advantages:

• The STL system has been designed to be exceptionally light and totally compact to achieve ease of transportation to the area of use prior to setup.
• The system is designed with robust and hard-wearing materials, to achieve reliability whilst used in harsh environments.
• The system is coated with a special non reflective paint, so that any background light would be absorbed by the system thus preventing reflection.
• The STL is unique to the market where you have a two-part system. In the form of electronically powered motor device and a friction descent device, unlike conventional rappelling/abseil devices.
• The system has been designed to give you the user total control, where you can adjust the levels of friction whilst descending with a single user, or in the event of a lower with a casualty.
• The system has another unique advantage where you can carry out a (HSBT) “Hot swap battery transfer” where the system has a special cooling system to the motor that will allow you to keep changing batteries all day or night without effecting the performance of the system.
• The system can also be used in an angled position, as the system rope is fed internal to the device, so will not affect angle transfers whilst in use.
